The first Adam took the fruit and gave us death. The second Adam took the cross and gave us life. Adam tried to be like God and fell. Christ became true man and lifted us up to God. And he continues to remain with us, even in times of temptation.
At his transfiguration, Jesus not only reveals who he is, but shows us the end of the story.
Jesus, the king of all, made himself the priestly sacrifice for all people. In so doing, he has made you part of his royal priesthood.
God used this greatest evil to accomplish the greatest good for you and me. That’s why our only boast is to boast about our gracious, loving, works-in-mysterious-ways God.
